Is Your Workout Plan Actually Right for Your Goals?

Get a professional second opinion on your current training.

Underline decorative

You might be training regularly and putting the effort in, but still wondering whether your workouts are actually helping you get where you want to be.

My Training Review gives you a personalised review of your current workout plan, gym programme or training routine so you can understand what's working, what I'd change and what could be holding your progress back.

Training Review £49

One-off review. No subscription or ongoing coaching required.

"A quick heads-up before you start:
After payment, you'll be taken straight to your Training Review questionnaire. It takes around 20 minutes to complete, so I'd recommend purchasing when you've got time to sit down and fill it in."

Not Sure If Your Workout Routine Is Working?

You don't necessarily need another random workout plan from the internet.

Sometimes you need someone who knows what they're looking at to take a proper look at what you're already doing.

Your Training Review could be useful if:

  • You're working out regularly but aren't seeing the progress you expected

  • You're not sure if your workout plan matches your goal

  • You've created your own gym routine and want a personal trainer to review it

  • You're following a programme from an app, Instagram or online and don't know whether it's actually right for you

  • You do a mixture of strength training, cardio, running, classes or other exercise and aren't sure how it all fits together

  • You've been following the same training programme for a while and don't know what to change

  • You're progressing in some exercises but not others

  • You're simply wondering “Am I actually doing this right?”

What I Will Look At in Your Training

I'm not just going to glance at your exercise list and tell you it looks fine.

I'll look at how your training programme works as a whole and whether what you're doing makes sense for what you're actually trying to achieve.

Depending on your current training, I'll look at things including:

Your goal
Does your current training actually match it?

Training frequency
Are you training often enough, too often, or structuring your week effectively?

Exercise selection
Do the exercises you've chosen make sense for your goal?

Sets, reps and training volume
Is the amount of work you're doing appropriate and balanced?

Exercise order
Does the structure of each workout make sense?

Progression
Is there a clear way for your training to progress rather than simply repeating the same workouts?

Training balance
Are some areas getting loads of attention while others are barely being trained?

What's missing
Is there anything I'd expect to see that isn't currently there?

What's unnecessary
Are you spending time doing things that aren't really contributing much to your goal?

What Do You Get With a Training Review

Example personalised workout plan and training review by Supero Fitness

You'll receive a personalised written Training Review that you can keep and refer back to.

I'll explain:

WHAT'S WORKING
The parts of your current training I'd keep.

WHAT I'D CHANGE
Where I think your training could be improved.

WHAT'S NOT HELPING
Anything that may be taking up time without contributing

much towards your goal.

WHAT'S MISSING
Any gaps I think need addressing.

Where appropriate, I'll also give you clear recommendations for what I think you should do differently going forward.

No generic computer-generated score.

This is a real review of your training by me, based on the information you provide about your goals, experience and current routine.

What If I Don't Have a Workout Plan

That's absolutely fine.

You don't need to arrive with a beautifully organised gym spreadsheet.

Maybe you go to a couple of fitness classes, run, do some cardio, occasionally lift weights or simply choose your workout when you arrive at the gym.

Tell me what you're currently doing and I'll look at how that training fits with what you're trying to achieve.
If you do have a workout programme, you can upload screenshots from an app, photos, a PDF, spreadsheet or document when you complete your questionnaire.

Do I Need a Training Review or Online Personal Training

A Training Review is ideal if you're happy training independently but want a professional second opinion on what you're currently doing.

You aren't signing up for ongoing personal training or coaching. I'll review the information you provide and give you clear feedback that you can use yourself.

If you want ongoing support, regular programme changes, progress monitoring, nutrition targets, check-ins and accountability, my online coaching would be more suitable.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Can a personal trainer review my workout plan?
A. Yes. Send me the training you're currently doing along with information about your goals and experience, and I'll assess how well your current routine matches what you're trying to achieve.

Q. How do I know if my workout plan is working?
A. Progress can show up in different ways depending on your goal. Your strength, repetitions, performance, measurements, body composition or general fitness may change over time. Your Training Review will look at whether the structure of your current training gives you a sensible way to progress towards your particular goal.

Q. Can you review a workout plan I made myself?
A. Yes. It doesn't matter whether you created your own workout routine, downloaded one, use a fitness app or were given a programme elsewhere. I'll review what you're currently doing.

Q. What if I don't have a workout programme?
A. That's fine. Tell me what your normal week of exercise currently looks like. This could include gym workouts, fitness classes, running, cardio, home workouts or other activities.

Q. Is this the same as online personal training?
A. No. This is a one-off training review, not ongoing coaching. If you want ongoing programming, support, accountability and progress monitoring, online coaching would be more appropriate.

Q. Will you review my diet as well?
A. No. The Training Review focuses specifically on your training. Nutrition, recovery, sleep and general activity can all affect your results, but they aren't assessed as part of this particular review.

Q.Can you help with injuries?
A. The Training Review isn't a medical assessment, diagnosis or rehabilitation service. If an injury or health condition requires assessment or treatment, you should seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional.

You're Already Putting the Effort In.

Let's make sure that effort is going in the right direction.

If you've been wondering “Is my workout plan actually right for me?”, let's take a proper look at it.
